We are proud to announce that Caravelle Hotel, with the representative of Ms. Ngô Thùy Đan Thanh – Pastry Chef de Partie and Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Dũng – Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, won the 3rd prize of the Vietnam Classic Pastry Cup FINAL 2013 which took place in DOBLA BA RIA VUNG TAU.
This is a prestigious and honorable contest which aims to encourage and develop the professional skills of Vietnamese Chefs as well as the teamwork’s spirit. For the 4th edition of the only true pastry competition in Vietnam, 6 motivated teams including: Intercontinental Asiana Saigon, Caravelle Hotel, Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel, Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa, Sofitel Plaza Hanoi and Sheraton Hanoi Hotel have shown their skills, team spirit and creativity to a panel of recognized national and international pastry chefs. These judges will assess the teams upon originality, creativity, innovation, presentation and taste of their creation. In addition, the panel will grade the contestants on their technical and organization skills, hygiene and professionalism. With this prestigious prize, the team of Caravelle Hotel will be attending a training in Hong Kong and Malaysia under the tuition of Master Chef inclusive of accommodation and air fare.
