On the 4 April 2014 in Hanoi, Caravelle Hotel picked up the ASEAN Green Hotel Award from Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, in recognition of the hotel’s great efforts in the endless Green journey.
The ASEAN Green Hotel Award is a ceremony held by the ASEAN Member States, honoring those who comply with the ASEAN Green Hotel Standard, including a total of 11 major criteria whereby the assessment is carried out by a national authorized body in each respective country.
The objective of this Standard is to enhance environmental-friendliness, energy conservation and to establish a professional green hotel operation, such as environmental planning, green products, human resources and environmental management, which enables environmental and communities to benefit from a collective approach to operational professionalism.
